Spring is here and it couldn't have come soon enough.Much of the nation was pummled this winter, and here on the east coast it was especially brutal. Those of us who are in education know that a heavy snow signals a "snow day." Kids love it, and I must admit, as a teacher I, too, enjoy the occasional day off in the middle of the winter. However, this year's blasts blessed us with 5 snow days! Now they must be made up; so what would have been a spring break for many is turning into a spring weekend instead.
